Native Americans believe that animals have much to teach us, as they are messengers of Great Spirit. They are viewed as symbols of strength, protection, hard work, self-reflection, life and great love.
When the bear shows up in our lives it is also a symbol for play, we need to relax and allow for some creative into our lives.
Bears are totem or power animals. A bear take in all available information, studies it carefully and reaches his own informed decisions based on the facts at hand.
In 2001 my mother was sent home from the doctor to die. She had numerous health problems and was diagnosed with congenital heart failure. I had nightmares about waking up and finding her dead. Sometimes when I couldn't hear her breathing I would wake her up, just to make sure she was alive. Though making lifestyle changes by mothers health improved.
In 2007 my mother and I started Summer Bear Life Balance Education because we believe that no one should lose a loved one from a disease that is preventable.
One of the most rewarding experiences is when we see the difference that lifestyle changes can make in someone's life. It is very fulfilling to see individuals then inspire and motivate others.
Summer Bear offers education and support for your lifestyle changes. We hold classes, retreats, seminars and chefs challenge.
Summer Bear gives individuals wide and varied experiences through socials, events and activities. Some of the activities we have hosted have been and continue to be local and national motivational speakers, food preparation and fitness classes, potlucks, hikes, parties and camping, water rafting, and service projects.
Your donation goes to give more people the opportunity to learn how to have balance in their life in mind, body and spirit. All donations are tax deductible.
