Home made sesame milk. The same process is used to make almond milk just substitute one cup almonds for the sesame seeds for fresh made Almond Milk.
To make homemade almond milk use the same process as for sesame milk, just use 1 cup of almonds for every cup of sesame seeds.
1 cup almonds, soaked overnight
2 cups pure water
Soak the almonds overnight. (For whiter milk peel the brown skin off the almonds while wet.) Drain the water. Place the almonds into a blender with 2 cups of pure freshwater. Blend for a minute or two.
Place a milk bag, clean nylon sock, or cheesecloth over a big bowl and pour the contents of the blender into the bag.
Squeeze the liquid out of the milk bag. That liquid is now your sesame milk. Use the pulp that is left over and in your bag for cookies, crackers, or bread.
Hemp seed milk: Substitute hemp seeds for almonds.
Nut milk can be made with any nut or seed that you can imagine, including Brazil nuts, pumpkin seeds, and hazelnuts just name a few.
