Quality education in all areas of life for a balanced life to be achieved
Classes & seminars focused on achieving well-being
Wide and varied learning experiences including socials, events and activities
In 2002 my mother was sent home from the doctor to die. She had numerous health problems and was diagnosed with congenital heart failure. I had nightmares about waking up and finding her dead. Sometimes when I couldn’t hear her breathing I would wake her up, just to make sure she was alive. Though making lifestyle changes by mothers health improved.
She is still alive and because of this experience I founded Summer Bear Life Balance Education. I did not want anyone else to face the fear loosing a loved one from a preventable disease.
It is a most rewarding experience to see the difference that lifestyle changes can make in someone’s life. It is very fulfilling to see individuals successes then inspire and motivate others.
Summer Bear gives individuals wide and varied experiences through socials, events and activities. Some of the activities we have hosted have been and continue to be national motivational speakers, food preparation and fitness classes, potlucks, hikes, parties and camping, water rafting, and service projects such as sub for Santa. In general Summer Bear offers education and support for your lifestyle changes.
We are the premiere source contributing to a world where life long lifestyle changes are rewarding and fun.
Native Americans believe that animals have much to teach us, as they are messengers of Great Spirit. Bears are viewed as symbols of strength, bravery, peace, protection, hard work, self-reflection, life, freedom and great love. In the Sioux tradition bear is connected to healing.
Bears are totem or power animals. A bear take in all available information, studies it carefully and reaches his own informed decisions based on the facts at hand. The bear carries messages for us that can be profoundly meaningful to guide us though hard times of our life. At times bear may show up in our lives to help us remember the sweet things. Bear also a symbol for play, we need to relax and allow for some creative into our lives.
Bears are my friends and with so much to teach they became my symbol. I have Native American blood from a small Northern California. I also wanted to honor my family but the name can be confusing. As I was talking to my Great Uncle he told me the meaning of our name is summer. I believe that all things can be achieved by obtaining life balance. Therefor we are Summer Bear Life Balance Education.
